Left In The Dark

- This is my first serious project, please be aware that it is not a finished product and may contain some noticeable flaws and unfinished content.

- While it's tagged as a metroidvania, and while the game world can be interconnected and rooms can be explored, vast chunks of the game are linear movement through the Tower of Gore without backtracking portals in between rooms (Once a room is exited the only way if forward.)

- I strongly advise using a controller to control the player & mouse for the UI. Keyboard & mouse is near unplayable for now.

Synopsis: 

Waking up from a long slumber at the bottom of the abyss, you, the only surviving member of an extinct demon caste, must climb your way back to the top. You are reborn, without any knowledge and companionship. Will you be able to escape safely or will the Tower of Gore consume your sanity, just as it did to so many others before you?
